Chasing Aces in Middle-grade Math: A Guide to Teaching Through the Lens of Disc Golf

Chasing Aces in Middle-grade Math:

For most middle schoolers, math doesn’t stand out as their favorite subject. It isn’t as active as P.E. and can feel useless in the real world. Included within is a lens of over 65 concepts embedded in 13 lessons to provide optimum cross-curriculum learning, an excellent resource for home schoolers, public schoolers, and private schoolers alike.

Chasing Aces in Middle Grade Math proves that math can be fun and demonstrates how useful it is throughout our lives. Using the game of disc golf, teachers will discover new ways to incorporate math problems in, and out, of the classroom.

Students will be introduced to math, science, and technology concepts that will require them to think outside the box. By providing innovative exercises for students to attempt, they are given the opportunity to give math a second try.
