Theatre of the Vampires

Vampire bats trapped in a crate break out and escape on the stage of an old majestic theatre. They bite the maintenance; man, he bites back absorbing the power of the forbidden blood. In the process he befriends one of the bats who teaches him how to be a vampire. How to fly, become mist or all those other things monsters do.

Telepathic creatures, the King Vampire Knows what’s been done so he assembles his army to extract revenge for the death of the prince and reclaim the sacred blood, of the ancients. Make things right and bring order back to the planet.

Pretending to be human the maintenance man and his coworkers carry on as normal. Doing the kinds of things that theatre workers do. Giving the viewer a sneak peak of what daily life is like behind the scenes working in a theatre.

All the while preparing for the unavoidable battle with the wicked king and his army of monsters. Their coming and nothing can change that. Creating a one-way path of death and destruction. As they make their way to the theatre of young vampires.

This story has something new and interesting every time you turn around. Never boring or a dull moment. It has comedy, tragedy, and horror.

What sets this story apart?

Surprises from beginning to end. This is not your typical Vampire story. Metaphorical at its best, the telepathy abilities between the Vampire bats are quite unique. It gives a creature besides man dominion over the earth. When a human absorbs the sacred blood, the world is thrown into chaos as the balance of power shifts.

Because of a freak accident. You have these humans who are now Vampires running this Magnificent old beautiful theatre. Bumbling around trying to figure out what has happened to their world.

With different types of events happening every night, the viewer gets a behind the scenes glimpse of what it would be like to work in the theatre.

And then there’s the General. What a cool pet.

The only bat to survive the freak accident. Old as he is wise. Teaches the others how to use their new powers. As they prepare for an invading army of monsters that are coming to get them.

With so many unexpected scenes you never know what will happen next, as this web of delight unfolds before you. There is no predicting how the story will end. And just when you think it’s safe to go outside you realized no it’s much, much, worse.

And of course, the back drop is a beautiful majestic old theatre. Loved by thousands as a place of wonderful memories. When word gets out, we are filming there it will spread like wild fire. Press and social media alike. People will want to buy a ticket just because…..

Liberty For All Men Everywhere

LIBERTY FOR ALL MEN EVERYWHERE:

THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF FREEDOM

17 selected chapters are available at https://www.libfame.com/

Hear the author discussing his book at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-OnVlOEF3A

This is a large book. The PDF is 564 pages, not counting the Table Of Contents. There is a lot to know. There are 177 chapters. Any one of them could be expanded into a book.

In 1848, Karl Marx published his “Communist Manifesto” – the most influential political propaganda ever written. In it he preached his gospel of peace through war, prosperity through stealing, and love through murder. Now Marx is regarded by most of the world as a savior, and Jesus Christ is regarded as a superstitious peasant, if he existed at all. Marx’s doctrines are known under many names – Communist, Socialist, Marxist, Marxian, Leftist, and Liberal. The common denominator is that owning property is a sin, and that the government should bring righteousness to the world by taking property away from those who have it.

The joke is that Communism was started by, and has always been supported by, the Great Conspiracy of the Super Rich, in order to enslave those whom Communism claims to liberate.

Christianity is the great opposition to both Communism and the Conspiracy, and so they struggle constantly to stamp out Christianity. And the joke about that is that Christianity teaches materialism, by teaching that “God formed man of the dust of the ground” – which is definitely not true.

Thus the world is immersed in a flood of lies and deception. It has seven billion people. Very few of them have even the slightest idea what’s going on. It’s a zoo! The inmates are running the asylum!

You need to think “outside the box”. This book can be your guide for getting “outside the box”.

Buy it. Read it. Study it. Think about it. Apply it. Tell other people about it.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dale Samson has always been very interested in both politics and religion. He has studied in depth Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, science, and many Western philosophers. He is a great admirer of the Founding Fathers of America and of the liberty to which they dedicated their lives. He has carefully studied Karl Marx and the opposition to liberty. His book – LIBERTY FOR ALL MEN EVERYWHERE – The Theory And Practice Of Freedom – contains a detailed commentary on the Communist Manifesto, a fresh new statement of the philosophy and rationale of liberty, and commentary on these various religions and philosophies. It presents a comprehensive political philosophy, together with down-to-earth specific proposals.

He was born the son of a physicist and grew up immersed in math and physics. His childhood heroes were Newton and Einstein. Thus he is familiar with science, with Einstein’s theory of relativity, with quantum mechanics, and with the philosophy of materialism.

At an early age, he became intensely interested in oriental philosophy and religion. He graduated from Harvard College, majoring in philosophy. He studied existentialism, Immanuel Kant, logical positivism, linguistic philosophy, and many other schools of thought.

He joined the Army and spent a year doing military service in Vietnam.

He graduated from Harvard Business School, where he started to learn about business, economics, and finance.

Later he made a deep study of Christianity, and discovered a basic error in his thinking. He had been taught that all religions are basically the same. But he discovered that there are two types of religion. This fact is enormously important, but almost nobody knows about it.

He hopes that his book will inspire you with enthusiasm for liberty as envisioned by the American Founding Fathers. He hopes to persuade you that you personally can exercise your free will and do something that actually does make a difference to the future. There is hope. The place to start is to get the book, and then to learn the data.

Fair Winds of Death

Fair Winds of Death

Decades before NCIS became a television hit drama series, the real men and women of the Naval Investigative Service (NIS), both Navy and civilian personnel, solved case after case around the world without the help of personal computers, cell phones, DNA, or the Internet. They had to rely on dangerous street work, investigative skills, logic, experience, and information derived from informants to put the bad guys in the brig. And sometimes, plain old luck was the key factor.

In 1971, Lieutenant Commander Marcus Colt is the top internal affairs investigator for the NIS Washington D.C. headquarters. When the unusual cases come across the desks of the top Navy brass, this decorated officer is the one who gets handed the job. He is intelligent and driven to always succeed, but his somewhat short temper and touch of sarcasm can complicate things. For this latest case, his youthful looks and uncanny investigative skills are essential as he goes undercover as a junior enlisted man in Norfolk, Virginia.

His mission is challenging: quickly find and stop the leaks of sensitive NIS information that have resulted in the murders of at least four confidential informants on the Norfolk Navy Base. To accomplish this difficult task, he has to build close relationships with all the personnel in the NIS unit, invade their privacy, and dig up all their secrets all while keeping his true identity and mission from them.

As the case takes unexpected twists and turns, loss of an old love, meeting a high-ranking officer’s daughter, avoiding assassins, and overcoming his own personal guilt from a previous Vietnam mission add complexity to the assignment. But both new and old friends and coworkers give Marcus the help he needs as he works to solve this case before time runs out and someone else dies.

Author Bio

Billy R. Wade, Jr. enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve in 1969. After being called to active duty, he graduated top of his class from both basic training at Naval Training Center (NTC) Orlando, Florida and Yeoman ‘A’ School at NTC Bainbridge, Maryland.

After this training, he was assigned to the Naval Investigative Service Office in Norfolk, Virginia for nearly two years in the early 1970s. While there on active duty, he earned the Navy’s Pistol Marksmanship Ribbon with ribbon device ‘S’ after qualifying as a Sharpshooter with the standard sidearm at that time, the 1911 .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol.

He left active service as a Petty Officer Third Class. While it was not required, Bill spent three additional years as a weekend reservist at his local Navy Reserve Center assisting with the clerical demands of the center, a Seabee unit, and a training course development unit.

He holds degrees in Business Management and Computer Science, and studied marketing at the University of South Florida. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, he spent his teen years and much of his adult life in the Tampa Bay area of Florida before escaping to the mountains of West Virginia.

While new to fiction writing, Bill has written several technical “how-to” articles that were published in hobby magazines. And he is nearly finished with the next adventure for his Fair Winds protagonist, Marcus Colt. He attributes his new love of fiction writing to surviving brain surgery a few years ago. As Bill phrases it, some of the connections in his brain have found “new and definitely different pathways.”

In addition to writing, he owns and operates a hobby kit manufacturing business on his property in rural West Virginia. Bill helps the local volunteer animal shelter by fostering rescue animals with special needs. When not cutting firewood or shoveling snow, he spends his little free time staying proficient with his Colt 1911 .45 pistol to better assist with security at his church.

A Fearful Wonder - 6BC

A Fearful Wonder: 6 BC

A new-born king born in obscurity in Bethlehem has escaped the clutches of a madman, only to be threatened by the true perpetuators of a diabolical scheme a millennium old in Nazareth. But a timely rescue by four legendary watchers seeking redemption ensures the survival of the one who has sworn to destroy their own people from the face of the earth. The young family flee along with their unlikely saviors far into Egypt near Naucratis, forty miles upriver from Alexandria on the western-most branch of the Nile.

Here, safe from the threat of a new king of Judea, Ben Jacob and Miriam raise a growing family along with Miriam’s twin sister Salome and her jovial husband Matai. The family soon receive a welcome visit from their friends from Swena, Degu, a merchant, and his wife Adey along with their eight-year-old, adventure-minded son Simon. When Ben Jacob learns of a massive alliance against Rome by a new ruler of the Sarmatian kingdom and a rumored invasion of Jerusalem he is anxious, but is assured by the eight-year-old Yahshua that he will soon be destroyed. The children live a care-free life unaware of their protector’s pasts, or their big brother’s and cousin’s plan to destroy the resurrected monster by the power of a weapon long considered lost.

PRIDE

What do men have to be proud of? James has always known pride to be the biggest of sins, but going on a hunting safari might just be what he needed to experience real humility. A pride of lions is a force to be reckoned with. They are free, ferocious, feral. Forever committed to protecting one another. Perhaps humans should take notes.

When James ends up exposed and hunted in the wilderness, he decides he better start. In nature, there is no time to draw comparisons, worry about being masculine enough, or show off whatever power you may think you hold over others. When you hear a roar, you better start running. When you stumble, you better get back up. When the lion catches up to you, you better show you are not a threat.

That pride you thought was well-deserved? That superiority you sharpened like a knife? They’re not weapons you can use. They’re ropes that tie you down. As James forms a strong bond with the others in the lion camp, he realises society has always spun tales about men that no man can live up to.

Now that those rules don’t apply to him anymore, what is left of his identity? Can he roam free by putting behind that sin? And what does being a man truly even mean? James is only sure of one thing... When you enter a lion pride, you leave your own pride behind.
