The Last One Out

Montana dodges it. Teri relies on its corruption. It baffles Chris. And Lainey wants to believe it still works. Even Lady Liberty gave up on the U.S. Legal System.

Teri Bradshaw finally conquered life; she got rich. Her TSA agents have been robbing airport passengers for a decade. She ships all our stuff down to Nicaragua to resell around the world. But when that country spirals into civil unrest, can her scheme survive?

In the fires of the Nicaraguan revolution, Christian discovered a lost Spanish treasure. It’s his ticket out. But the one friend who could smuggle it out got trapped in the U.S. by its failed legal system and the cartoonish new expectation lawsuits.

Lainey, the jilted wife of one of Teri’s boyfriends, can prove the sly CEO is a crook. She had to go to Colombia to do it, and now the freedom of expat life beckons. She’ll have to decide whether to follow Lady Justice’s example or return to the U.S. and risk being The Last One Out.

Follow Victor Adams’ hilarious dystopian satire of American life. From a disastrous Disneyland Selfi-Park to tongue twisting corporate sloganeering and ‘investment ready’ lawsuits. You’ll wonder where fiction stops and reality starts.

Buckhead Chronicles 1955-1968

5 Star Review on Amazon:

Childhood is a village and mine was spent in the Atlanta suburb of Buckhead. The 1950s and 60s were a time of threat of nuclear war, candy, and wonder

Even if you're not from Atlanta, this is for those of us who grew up in the 50's and 60's. But if you are from Atlanta, especially the Buckhead area, then you'll love it all the more. It's a very engaging and charming coming of age compilation of memoirs. Highly recommended !

Firth's Chasm

On a good day,any sane person could never imagine what it would feel like to be on a doomed crashing jetliner, much less live to tell the tale.
A combination of fiction and non-fiction, impossible to tell which, this is the story of one man that lives to tell the experience as the jetliner starts breaking apart at the arctic circle above Canada.
Living through the experience is horrendous enough by itself but when Travis James realizes that his life is thought to be forfeited in the wreckage and there is no help coming? He goes into survival mode as his damaged body wreaks havoc and keeps him trapped in the wilderness, keeping him from traveling south to safety.
A man of means, aching to return to his family that believes he is dead is the driving force that pushes a man to the limits and beyond of his ability as the unfriendly terrain takes it's toll.
When the push south finally begins, the trail is littered with agony and death as the civilized world refuses to acknowledge that there were any survivors or that he is anything other than a homeless man.
A disfigured Travis is constantly trying to decide whether to join his family, knowing he no longer looks quite the same, or to wander off into the sunset and save his family more grief.
Some names have been changed to protect the innocent

Football's Fearless Activists

Football's Fearless Activists:

How Colin Kaepernick, Eric Reid, Kenny Stills, and Fellow Athletes Stood Up to the NFL

and President Trump

For the first time, here is the full story of the NFL player protests that rocked a nation and turned our country upside down. This is the players' side, one that has largely been ignored by the media.

On September 1, 2016, Colin Kaepernick took a knee before a preseason game. Little did he, nor anyone else, know the ramifications from that decision. Since being exiled from the National Football League, Kaepernick has stood strong against all those who have attacked him. He and others who took a knee against racial inequality and police brutality have been ridiculed, mocked, threatened, and some have even lost their jobs. They have feared for their safety and that of their loved ones.

But what made Kaepernick kneel, and the entire country turn a silent protest into a national pandemic? One person: President Donald Trump.

For the first time, veteran journalist Mike Freeman sits down with those directly involved in the protests—the players—to find out how things really went down. Readers will learn why they decided to protest, how racism and the murdering of innocent men of color directly affected them, how the politics of protest affected their professional and personal lives, and if anything has even changed for the better.

Including interviews with Colin Kaepernick, Eric Reid, Kenny Stills, Michael Bennett, Richard Sherman, and numerous others, see first-hand how the media, President Trump, and the National Football League took a peaceful message for change and turned it on its head. They changed the narrative, accusing these men of being “anti-America,” “anti-military,” and “disrespecting the flag.”

In Football’s Fearless Activists, Freeman offers an opportunity to understand what these protests meant to the players, and how the hatred from the media, President, NFL owners, and some Americans was not only unwarranted, but anti-American.

Sobriety, I Did It My Way

Sobriety, I Did It My Way

Alcohol is something that can be enjoyed as a means to relax and unwind after a hard day at work, to celebrate a special occasion or simply when socializing with friends.

There’s nothing wrong with having a drink but when an occasional celebratory tipple become a habit, which then becomes a necessity, that’s when problems can arise.

Mo Khan knows this better than most. His addiction to alcohol very nearly cost him his life. It threatened to lead him on a path that would take every good thing he had ever achieved and throw it away, like it was inconsequential.

In his motivational book, Sobriety, I Did it My Way, Mo details his struggle with alcohol and how he fought back from the brink, with the help and support of family and friends, to free himself from the stranglehold that alcohol had taken on him.
But this isn’t just a book about how one man managed to succeed. It provides the reader with a clear path to their own sobriety, as well as helpful tips on where to get the support you need.
