Dreamchaser

I came to this wonderful country, USA in 1987 as a refugee from Ukraine.
I have written a book, Dreamchaser.

Dreamchaser stories that occurred during two years in the Soviet military and two years in a Soviet prison camp, the GULAG, as a political dissident.
It is clear he followed his own path to chase his dream. After being sentenced to two years in the Russian GULAG, the author describes the terror of surviving in a prison.
Dreamchaser provides a new angle on life in the USSR. It ends with a train ride across the border that is filled with heart-stopping moments, bringing the author out of the stone age into freedom to catch his dream-freedom and pursuit of happiness.
After reading Dreamchaser, you will start counting blessings in your life.

I raised American Hero, my son, who served this great country for 4 years in the Marine Corp and fought in the war against Evil.

I raised my children with believe: If you can dream it, You can Do it.

It Must Be Fiction: It Can't Be Real... and It Never Ends

It Must Be Fiction:

It Can't Be Real... and It Never Ends

This book is completely fictitious and any similarities to living individuals is purely circumstantial. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

As life would have it, I need to start by saying that I have stage four kidney cancer. I've had three surgeries. One to robotically remove part of my kidney, another to try and remove a tumor on my pelvis the size of two coke cans, and the last to put three 7 inch screws in my pelvis to keep the bones from shattering.

So, here I am in my sixties fighting to stay alive and writing this book because everyone always said I should write a book about my life. They say that because the stories I tell are so outlandish that nobody would believe that they could possibly be true, but you can decide for yourself...

We all have stories to tell, but how we tell them makes the difference. Mine will probably make you smile, laugh, cry, curse, and wonder who is this guy?

Order your copy NOW and send me a note when your're done reading.

This eventually comes to light when his sister uses DNA to try and find a son she gave up for adoption. With a family of 13 siblings, half-siblings and step-siblings, there are so many twists and turns.”

When I grow up: There’s no limitations to a young black boys career path

There are many things that are different in this world. There are different trees and plants with different colours of leaves and branches. There are many bodies of water that have different colours and interesting plants and animals inside. There is difference in the sky when it is day and when it is night. There is difference in all the animals and plants and there is also difference in you. There are lots of differences every where we look and go. And the difference in them all is what makes them special. And so, that also means you are special. In you and in each of your friends and in each person in your family. Each person that you see each day has something special in them. They have the power to be whatever they want to be.Just because you look different from others doesn't make you less special. It makes you unique. You can be what you want to be because you have a special gift in you. Dark skin and curly hair or light skin and wavy hair just shows the gift that is inside of you. Here is a boy called Ricky that learns of the gift that is inside of him. When he goes fishing with his father he learns that he could use whatever gift that is inside him to be just what he wants to be. So, his father and family helps him to know just what he could be when he grew up. There are a lot of things he could be and he wants to know them all. Little by little, after a fishing trip with his father at the pond and delicious fish dinner with his family, he learns that there are a lot of things he could be even with his dark skin and curly hair. Just like his Uncles and Grandpas, he knew he could be whatever he wanted to be when he grew up all with the help of the gift he had inside him that made him special.

Omar: Man of Words

I write here as an author now three times over, whose works have touched people of all stripes from places far and wide. I was not always this way. I used to suffer in silence, not confident enough to articulate myself. I am not silent anymore. I used to be powerless, voiceless, and aimless. Now my voice is powerful and my mission clear. Were it not for the education in words and experience I fought to pursue I would still be a slave to fear confused as to my purpose in life. Here I share the story of that change, to offer knowledge where ignorance abounds and hope where there is nothing but despair. The poems in this collection might make you mad enough to think, they might make you laugh, you might even shed a teardrop but by the end of this book, I am sure you won’t be able to say ... that I lied to you.

Excerpt from the book, a poem titled, "If"

what if i told you

one night

i saw lights

what if
that night

i made a wish
took a vow
whispered this promise

that if
i see stars

all my life
people told me
didn't exist

what if
i found out for myself
what else
is out there
outside of this
inner city

i had a vision !

a list
of aspirations
barack obama
wrote me a letter saying
remember the founding promise of this nation

if
you reach for your highest goals
in the process
you will
inspire others to do the same

though right now
it seems impossible

to win

you can face the odds
if

david faced off against goliath
a giant
twice his size
right then
i decided

if

all men are made of the same carbon
if
my grandmother came to this country
without a mother or a father
and she didn't quit
no matter how much mud
she had to shovel
if

i could do things differently
what's never been
in the history of this family

yes
if
i can

get rich
off a business
make an impact
that will live on

like phil knight did
out of his trunk
if
jobs and wozniak did
if malcolm x did
if
nelson mandela did it
after being in prison
if victor frankl
survived the concentration camp
then certainly
i can

do it

like bebop did it
if
hip hop did it
i said
if
rappers could make millions off words
this craft
could
be my passport to explore the planet
if

i give it my best
map out a plan and take action

if i practice confidence
walk with purpose and conviction
if
i hop on this train
and start talking
if
i see somebody blink or cough in my direction

if
i stay focused in preparation
until the day comes
for me
to make my mark
if i
take these thoughts in my brain and put them down on paper
if i
get creative and make a book
put books in this bag
if
when push comes to shove
i put the bag on my back
and my foot to the pavement
in the black of night
with the stars still in the sky
i was grinding to sell a thousand copies independent

because

one night

i made
a wish
took a vow
whispered this promise

The Hunt for the Legendary Mr. Morris

The Hunt for the Legendary Mr. Morris

It may not be the end of the world, but if they fail it will definitely be the end of them.

What’s left of the human race live a life of ignorant luxury thousands of years after the war. That is, until Kade, Brodin, and Sylas set off a chain of events they never thought possible. What do all three have in common? They are all skinny, they don’t believe a single thing they are told, and they love to delve into forbidden waters. They find themselves trapped in the world they dreamed of, left with a task where failure is not an option, and time is ticking down.

Kade and his friends must find the only man able to fix the mess they caused, but how will they survive a world where they are nothing but a delicacy of the food chain? The weight of humanity is resting on their tired shoulders with only each other to rely on.
